We provide a comprehensive "lift out" of Property Accounting Operations, and we have systems for timeliness and accuracy. This includes monthly accounting activities, financial reporting for owners and lenders, treasury services and liaising with auditors. Property accounting and property operations are the two equal halves of property management. Think of us as your partners.
We emphatically reject the notion of removing general bookkeeping responsibilities from the property level staff. We strongly believe entering invoices and rent receipts are fundamental to the on-site staff's ability to properly manage a budget. As such, we encourage empowering the staff to do this and do not provide this service. This creates better long-term performance and a layer of internal controls.
